The City does not automatically gather any personal information from you via this website. This information is only obtained if you supply it voluntarily, whether by completing forms provided through the website or by emailing us or otherwise voluntarily providing information to us.
Any personal information we ask you to provide is collected under the authority of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act and will be stored, accessed and used in accordance with the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
The information will only be used for the purpose of planning and administering Doors Open Vancouver events by employees of the City of Vancouver and participating Doors Open Vancouver program partners (as needed for Doors Open Vancouver program administration), or, in the case of information submitted via forms, as additionally described in the Fluid Surveys and Eventbrite terms and conditions and privacy statement referred to in the following paragraphs.
Mailing list: privacy and terms
By clicking subscribe on the DOV mailing list subscription form, you, as of the date hereof, authorize the City of Vancouver to collect the information about you entered in the form, and authorize us to use this information to send you an email newsletter from time to time regarding Doors Open events and occasionally other City announcements. You acknowledge that you can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email newsletter. Pre-registration forms: privacy and terms
The forms on the Doors Open Vancouver website are powered by Eventbrite for the convenience of the public. However, you need not use these forms and you may register for Doors Open Vancouver events by emailing the City of Vancouver at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Note that any information submitted using the EventBrite forms is subject to the terms and conditions privacy statement at https://www.eventbrite.ca/tos/ and https://www.eventbrite.ca/privacypolicy/ respectively. By submitting information via the forms on the Doors Open Vancouver website, you will be deemed to agree to such terms and conditions, commencing as of the date you submit such information.
NOTE THAT ANY INFORMATION SUBMITTED TO EVENTBRITE WILL BE STORED ON SERVERS IN THE UNITED STATES AND ACCESSED IN THE UNITED STATES, AS AND FOR THE PURPOSES DESCRIBED IN THE “EVENTBRITE TERMS OF SERVICE AGREEMENT (BUYERS AND OTHER NON-ORGANIZERS)”

The feedback forms on the Doors Open Vancouver website are powered by Fluid Surveys for the convenience of the public. However, you need not use these forms. Instead you can provide feedback by emailing the City of Vancouver at email@example.com.

By submitting information via the forms on the Doors Open Vancouver website, you will be deemed to agree to such terms and conditions, commencing as of the date you submit such information.
